Kasur returns cover tanneries, textile units, workshops, farming and salaries. This page explains what to include.

Tanneries

Show leather sales against hides, chemicals, power, water treatment and labour. Hides and leather in process on 30 June are stock. Exporters' withholding is claimed.

Textile and Garment Units

Sales, raw materials, wages, power and depreciation, reconciled with sales tax and withholding filings.

Footwear Workshops

Sales to wholesalers against leather, soles, labour and rent.

Hide Traders

Purchases from collectors and butchers, sales to tanneries, transport and salt costs. The Eid season usually accounts for much of the year.

Farmers

Crop income from family land is agricultural.

Employees

Salary and withholding from certificates.

Wealth Statement

Factories, land, vehicles, stock and balances.

Online Footwear Sellers

Sales through marketplaces and courier cash-on-delivery are shown from the platform and courier statements. Returned parcels reduce sales, and courier charges, packaging and advertising are costs.

Food Shops

Falooda and sweet shops show daily sales against milk, sugar, ingredients, wages and rent. Delivery app commissions are expenses.

Commuters' Returns

Kasur residents working in Lahore's factories or offices report salary from the certificate and claim any excess tax withheld, often due to a mid-year salary change.

Ganda Singh Wala and Border Villages

Farmers in the border villages declare their crop income as agricultural and list their land, while families who run a shop or tractor service declare that profit separately.

Property Sold Near Lahore

Land on the Kasur-Lahore road has risen in value. A sale is reported with the price, cost and gain, and the advance tax paid under section 236C is claimed; the gain's treatment depends on when the land was acquired.
