Gojra returns often combine commission or mill income with farm income and salaries. This page explains what each needs.

Arhtis

Commission received, less shop rent, staff wages, electricity and other costs, is the arhti's income. List each buyer's deductions so they are credited.

Mill Owners

Show sales, purchases of grain, power, wages, repairs and depreciation, with stock at 30 June. Advance tax on industrial electricity bills is generally credited.

Farmers

Crop income from your own land is agricultural income. Keep the fard and sale receipts.

Shopkeepers

Profit is sales less purchases and expenses, adjusted for opening and closing stock.

Salaried Persons

Enter salary and the tax deducted as per the certificate.

Wealth Statement

Land, houses, shops, vehicles, gold, balances and amounts owed to or by you are listed. Advances to farmers appear as receivables.

Deadline and Late Filing

Returns are due by 30 September unless extended. Late filers pay a surcharge to rejoin the Active Taxpayers List.

Seed and Pesticide Dealers

Dealers show sales on credit to farmers as receivables until harvest, and claim the tax withheld by supplying companies.

Transporters

Truck owners carrying grain show freight, fuel, repairs and depreciation, and claim the advance tax paid with their tokens.

Families with Members in Faisalabad

Sons working in Faisalabad's mills file their own returns covering salary; money they send home is a receipt in the parents' wealth statement.
